About Us

The Egyptian Society for physical medicine, Rheumatology and rehabilitation is an organization of about 1300 members with specialist trained in physical medicine, Rheumatology and rehabilitation.
The society has an indexed open access international journal “Egyptian Rheumatology and Rehabilitation” that publishes UpToDate research and review articles and case reports in the field of adult and pediatric rheumatological and musculoskeletal conditions (erar.springeropen.com)

The Egyptian Society includes specialists in the following fields.

Physical Medicine

Diagnosis and non-surgical treatment for musculoskeletal, neurological , cardiovascular and respiratory disorders.

Rheumatology

Diagnosis and management of disorders whose common features is inflammation of joints, bone , muscles or internal organ.

Rehabilitation

sets of interventions designed to optimize functioning and reduce disability in individuals with health conditions in interaction with their environment.
